The work of James Rosen is in the collections of more than thirty-five museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Metre Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Educated at The Cooper Union, Wayne State University, and The Cranbrook Acadaemy, Professor Rosen has taught art history and painting at the University of California at Berkeley and at August College, where his is the William S. Morris Eminent Scholar in Art. His articles appear in numerous journals.
