Shirley Shor works in real time digital media: moving imagery written in computer code. Shor has received acclaim for her colorful, infinitely evolving computer-driven shapes, shown on screens imbedded in sculpture or as projections on sculptural forms. Shor's work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Recent shows include RAM, Rotterdam, the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts San Francisco, SF Camerawork, San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery, Ars Electronica, Linz, Austria and Herzliya Museum of Art, Israel. She received the 2003 Bay Area Murphy Award in fine arts.
